1
Know what Waldo looks like. He wears a red and white striped shirt and hat; round glasses and has brown hair; and blue pants and brown shoes.
-
2
Remember that Waldo usually carries a lot of objects with him. Because he's a traveler, Waldo carries a camera, binoculars, a tea cup and kettle, a walking stick, a snorkel, a sleeping bag, a canteen and a shoulder bag.

3
Start by looking for the red and white pattern on Waldo's clothes. If the picture has many other red and white striped things, it may be harder to find Waldo.
-
4
Look for a character with large round glasses. Sometimes Waldo is hiding behind a person or object. If so, you might only be able to see his face and glasses.
-
5
Make sure you have found Waldo and not an impostor. Sometimes there are many Waldo look-a-likes in a picture. You can figure out who is the real Waldo by looking at the details. The real Waldo will have almost all of his objects in Step 2 with him, and the real Waldo is always smiling.

Tips & Warnings
Sometimes Waldo drops some of his objects, but he almost never loses more than one. You can tell an impostor Waldo if he has no objects or only a couple of them.
