When a person who enjoys cross dressing wants to dress up and go out on the town, it's hard to know where to go. Many studies estimate between 1 and 5 percent of the male population cross dress, proving the need for resources.

1. Find cross dressing personals, post an ad and view others. Most personals sites allow you to browse first, before registering, so you can remain anonymous as long as you choose. Personals sites are also a way to find people who like to attend the same kind of events you enjoy.

2. Seek out cross dressing or transvestite chat rooms that allow people to explore aspects of the cross dressing life. Sometimes these chat rooms will sponsor activities, even annual conferences, for its members.

3. Trust cross dressing associations like tg2tg.org to provide all kinds of vital information for individuals who enjoy cross dressing and their family members who support them.

4. Search adult fetish web sites. This is the proverbial needle-in-a-haystack option, but it's usually fruitful.

5. Listen to word of mouth. Chances are, if you are a cross dresser, you know someone else who cross dresses. And they may have contacts who know of activities.
