Things You'll Need:
- Account with Reserve America
- Email address
- Credit card
-
Step 1
Pick the type of campsite you need. A primitive campsite is for tents and does not have water or electricity. You can also pick a campsite for a tent that has water and electricity as well as parking space. An RV site will have water, electricity and access to a dumping station.
-
Step 2
Choose a location. At Reserve America, you can search for campgrounds based on the state you're in or by landmarks.
-
Step 3
Know the dates for your visit. You have a better chance of reserving a campsite if your arrival and departure dates are flexible.
-
Step 4
Reserve your campsite online. Visit Reserve America and search for the campground where you plan to stay. Click on the "See Details" button for the campground and review the available information. Review the list of available campsites and then select "See Details" button for the campsite you want to book. Verify your dates and then click on the "Book These Dates" tab.
-
Step 5
Create an account. You need to have an account with Reserve America. If you already have an account you can sign-in as a member. To create a new account select the "Sign-up" tab. Enter the necessary information and then click the "Create Account" button.
-
Step 6
Continue your reservation. You need to enter the type of equipment you use, the number of people camping and the number of vehicles. Review and accept the terms of use if applicable to that campground. Then select the "Continue to Shopping Cart" button. Verify that the information is correct and click the "Checkout Shopping Cart" tab.
-
Step 7
Complete the reservation; enter your payment information and click on the "Complete this Purchase" button. When you receive your confirmation number you need to keep it with your records. The confirmation number is necessary in case you have problems with your reservation.
