1. Keep clean. This common sense step works all the time to prevent the spread of infectious diseases not just a biological attack.
2. Wear protective clothing and cover any open wounds. A surgical-type mask may help as well, depending upon the biological agent used.
3. Clean your environment. Insects and bacteria like filth so keep it out of your living and working areas. Screens on windows are big help against airborne vectors, such as mosquitoes and flies.
4. Stay inside if you fear a biological weapon attack. Any kind of overhead shelter with the ability to block the wind will help as airborne biological agents tend to be in large particles like dusts.

6. Wait until the area is clear of biological agents before venturing out.
