Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Get tickets. Once you arrive at The Baths, you will need to purchase tickets at the ticket booth located to the left of the trail leading down to the beach. Tickets only cost a few dollars, but are mandatory when arriving by land.
Step2
Check out the gift shops. Whether you stop by before or after your day at The Baths, check out the gift shops and restaurants at the top of the trail. There, you can purchase souvenirs, local spices and many other gifts.
Step3
Be careful walking down the trail. The trail is well-traveled, but rocks and animals can be in your way.
Step4
Once you arrive at the beach, get a locker for your valuables. The trail at The Baths is a rugged trail and your valuables can break or be lost easily. Locker tokens can be purchased for $2.50 at the Poor Man's Bar located at the bottom of the trail from the parking lot.
Step5
Explore by taking a left and embarking along the beach on the Devil's Bay Trail. This trail takes you in and out of the grottoes on the beach. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the parking lot trail to the end of the Devil's Bay Trail at Devil's Bay. Along the way you will have the opportunity to stray off the trail to climb some rocks, but don't lose the main trail. It is very popular and safe but you don't want to get into a dangerous situation by yourself.

Tips & Warnings

  • When exploring the Devil's Bay Trail, wear some sort of waterproof performance sandals. You will be climbing boulders and walking in and out of water. Performance sandals will make sure that you don't slip or step on anything that can cut your feet.
