With an enrollment of more than 15,000 students, Clemson University is growing and striving to be one of the top research universities in the country. Clemson offers the intimacy of a small college, with many classes having fewer than 20 students, while providing students with an excellent education. Here is how you can get the most out of a visit to Clemson University.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Register for a campus tour of Clemson. These tours are student led, last an hour and a half and give you an overview of the campus and its history. Tours are available Monday though Saturday at 9:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. and Sundays at 1:45 p.m. There are no tours during holidays or on days with a home football game. Register for a campus tour on the visitor's page on the Clemson website.
Step2
Show up for your visit early and wear comfortable shoes and clothing. The campus tours are walking tours so be sure you are prepared for the exercise.
Step3
Stick around campus during your visit to get an idea of campus life. You are welcome to eat on campus after your tour at one of the Clemson Dining Services' dining halls. You can also catch an athletic event or visit with current students on campus.
Step4
Schedule a tour of the College of Engineering and Science or the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Services. If you are interested in a program offered by either of these colleges, a tour of their facilities will give you a better overview of what class will be like and what these colleges can offer you.
Step5
Check the Clemson website to get extra information that will help your visit go smoothly. You can find driving directions, contact information for local lodging, parking information and more on the visitor's page.
