The beer bong is a staple of the college experience. It requires no studying and no exams, but an intense amount of drinking. Here are a few tips that will help you successfully do a beer bong at your next college party.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Purchase or make a beer bong. In today's day and age, you no longer have to struggle with a funnel, some tubing and a lot of duct tape. For just a few dollars, you can own your very own beer bong. Check out beersudz.com or beerbong.com to purchase your very own beer bong (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Place the tube in your mouth. Beer bongs are essentially made of a funnel and tubing. Place the tubing in your mouth and clasp the end so that it is closed tight.

  3. Step 3

Fill the funnel with beer. It's a good idea to start with one as the sensation of beer shooting down the back of your throat takes a bit of getting used to. Overtime you can build up to two or three whole beers. Have friends fill the funnel as you wait at the other end.

  4. Step 4

Allow the foam to settle before releasing the grip. Foam can build up quite high because of rapid pouring. Allowing the foam to settle will save you from ingesting a mouthful of air, which can be unpleasant to say the least. Also nose grease, yes grease from the side of your nose, can also be used to dampen the foam. Doing a beer bong isn't exactly a hygienic sport.

  5. Step 5

Release your tight grip and allow the beer to flow down the hatch. The trick is not to try and "swallow" the beer, but simply let it race down your hatch.

  6. Step 6

Wipe your mouth and cheer. Now bring the funnel to your next college party and share the love.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you are drinking responsibly. Alcohol consumption is something that must be monitored with you and your friends. If you perform a beer bong, be sure that you do not continue to drink excessively. For more information on a safe body weight tolerance, check out the website of your state's DMV.
