Women around the world from all walks of life adore jewelry, including beaded earrings. Fine jewelry is a rather expensive luxury item which has prompted many women to learn how to make bead earrings for themselves.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Select the components and beads you will need for your piece. When making the first pair it is recommended that you use a couple of really nice, more costly beads for each earring and some inexpensive filler beads that compliment the nicer ones.

  2. Step 2

Take a long straight pin and begin stringing the beads according to your desired pattern. Use another straight pin to string an identical bead pattern for the matching earring.

  3. Step 3

Make a loop in the wire of the pin. This is done by taking the round pliers and bending the pin until it creates a loop. Work to insure that both pieces have loops of the same size (or as close as possible).

  4. Step 4

Attach the loops to the French ear wires and your earrings are ready to be worn.

Tips & Warnings
  • When making earrings it is important that they are identical. Make sure that all pieces are facing the same way and are in the same order. The flat head of the straight pin will hold the beads in place. It is recommended that you use a small seed bead first to insure that there will be no beads slipping over the pin head.
