Step1
Check out the DC city pages. Three parks are listed with comments, although this site can be a little temperamental.
Step2
Go next to the Skatedork website for the unofficial skate spots in Washington, DC. As the Skatedork warns: "Wherever you skate, keep an eye out for the police, they are around, and they will bust you." The Skatedork provides photos and directions as well as a description of the terrain.
Step3
Visit the website of the Concrete Disciples and view their listings for skate spots. There are photos, comments, and addresses. As the reviewer stated, "there were so many lines in this place, it was just amazing."
Step4
Get your hands on a Streetwise Compact Washington, DC map and find all the addresses of the skate spots from the sites listed above.
Step5
Hit each one, being aware of pedestrians and signs banning skateboarding.
Step6
Ask the skaters there for more skate spots they can recommend. Ask for directions, and head on out.
Step7
Wear your helmet always. Stay safe.
