The fashion industry has a major influence on popular culture. With new reality television shows about designers and models popping up regularly, this influence shows no signs disappearing any time soon. Though we can't all be America's Next Top Model, we can get that fierce runway walk. Here a few steps to help you unleash your inner diva and walk like a runway model.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Be confident. There is nothing sexier than being comfortable in your skin. Love the person you are and embrace any and everything that you consider flaws. You'll be naturally radiant and your presence will be felt every wear you go.

  2. Step 2

Flaunt your personal style. It's great to be fashionable, but always wear what makes you feel good. There is no need to be a total slave to trends. Let your personality shine through in your wardrobe. You should always look the part when you walk like a runway model.

  3. Step 3

Watch your posture. You must create beautiful lines with your body. Elongate your neck and keep your shoulders back. Hold your head high. Use your core. Lead with your hips as you walk in a straight line crossing one foot in front of the other.

  4. Step 4

Study the greats. The best way to learn anything is to emulate the masters. Choose a model with a walk you admire and try to replicate it. Once you get it down, add a personal twist to make it your own.

  5. Step 5

Practice. You must make the walk look natural and effortless. Make sure to get comfortable in heels. Otherwise, you'll appear awkward when you walk like a runway model.
