How to Create Good Money Karma. Sanskrit for "act" or "action," karma refers to the universal law of cause and effect. What we send into the universe is what the universe gives back to us. Our thoughts and energy concerning money come back to us in the form of abundance or deprivation. If you are unhappy with your finances, change it. Start right now and create good money karma despite your past or present financial situation.
Examine your present feelings toward money. Determine how much of your attitude is negative and needs to be changed. Pay close attention to what you think and feel about earning, having and spending. Write down your thoughts and feelings about money as you work, pay bills, buy lunch or interact with money.
Evaluate your present financial situation. Take into account all sources of income, savings, investments, retirement plans and pensions. Factor in your financial responsibilities, including monthly miscellaneous living expenses. Determine if you currently have enough money to meet your obligations and provide for yourself and your family.
Express gratitude for what you already have. If you identified any negative energy concerning money even though you already have enough to provide for yourself and your family, then your continued negativity says you are ungrateful for what you have. Your lack of gratitude prevents you from attaining more and could even cause you to lose what you have.
Focus on finding a solution rather than focusing on the problem if you discover that you do not have enough to provide for yourself and your family. This is a positive thought process that generates positive energy and creates abundance. Focusing on lack is a negative thought process and generates a negative energy that creates more lack.
Believe that you will have the money you want. Believe that it is your destiny, or your karma. This generates a positive energy the universe uses to put you on the right path toward attaining your goals.
