For UFO-logists, any UFO abduction site is a potential gold mine of proof that UFO's exist and are interacting with Earth's inhabitants. Visiting an abduction site provides potential clues. These sites also provide an opportunity to talk with anyone living nearby who may have witnessed the abduction or experienced something strange that might indicate a spacecraft hovered or landed long enough to pick up an abductee.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Research UFO abduction websites so you have a wide variety of places to choose from.
Step2
Make a list of the sites that interest you. Include notes about each one so that when you're in the field you remember why you chose to visit that particular site. The list helps to remind you to investigate the points of interest each site holds for you.
Step3
Gather together equipment for investigating each site. Include vials and sealable plastic bags for sample collection, stickers and markers for labeling, at least one still camera, at least one tape recorder, at least one video camera, notebooks and pens, at least one metal detector, and any electromagnetic or Geiger devices you have access to for measuring electromagnetic fields and radiation levels.
Step4
Note the legal status of each site on your list. Obtain permission or permits you need to enter the area where the sites are located. Do this in advance of travel so you have the necessary time to correspond with relevant authorities or property owners.
Step5
Examine the site carefully for evidence that a UFO has been there. Measure radiation levels both at the site and at locations surrounding the site. Compare the levels to see if they differ from those of the surrounding areas. Look closely for burnt or charred ground, rocks or trees. Look for signs of extreme heat, such as the quartz in sand and rock that has melted and turned to glass. Note any patterns of dead plants, trees or animals that you find.
Step6
Ask people living near the site if they experienced anything unusual around the time the abduction occurred, such as the appearance of unusual lights, unusual noises, electrical malfunctions, loss of time or strange wildlife or pet behavior. Ask if any strangers visited the area at the time so you can ask your questions questions to them.
Step7
Record your findings with as much different media as you can. Use written notes, tape recorders, still cameras and video cameras. Every detail in your observations is important. One media source may capture something the others miss.
