How to Write a Resume for a Medical Imaging Job
Medical imaging is a lucrative and fast-growing career choice that requires months, if not years, of preparation and training. If you're writing a resume for a medical imaging job, you've either completed an accredited program and have your certification or you've been working in the field and are looking for a new employer.
Instructions

-
1
Find a template that suits you on a resume program or the Internet, and fill in your personal information.
-
2
List career experience beginning with the jobs best relating to the job description you are seeking. If you have done intern work as an MRI tech or worked hands on in ultrasound during a rotation at school, use the experience if it applies to the medical imaging position you are seeking.
-
-
3
List all education, accreditation and certification you have received in the field, including credits for continuing education. This is extremely important. Without the proper licensing, your medical imaging resume is incomplete, unless you are waiting for your certificate in the mail.
-
4
Show any additional training or experience you have as it applies to the medical imaging position you are seeking.

Tips & Warnings
Have someone proofread your resume.
Always provide a cover letter with your resume. In the cover letter, explain why the job you are applying for is important to you and some of your attributes that would make you an exceptional fit for this particular medical imaging job. If someone has recommended you for the job, make sure to put that in.
Don't put your salary requirements unless the job announcement asks for them. If it does, put that in the cover letter. Don't put your former or present salary on the resume.
