How to Plan a Trip to the War Eagle Fair

The War Eagle Mill is located 13 miles east of Rogers, Arkansas. The War Eagle Arts and Crafts Fair is a bi-annual event held that runs for a weekend in the spring and for a weekend in the fall. At War Eagle, you can watch craftsmen working with wood, paint, metal, glass, pottery and many other trades. You can watch them demonstrate their talents and purchase their items.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Book your accommodations. To find hotels, bed and breakfasts or rental cottages, visit arkansashotels.org. Visit wareaglemill.com to find the exact dates of the fair.

  2. Step 2

    Pack for the weather. The War Eagle Fair is held when Arkansas evenings are quite cool. Pack a light jacket and an umbrella.

  3. Step 3

    Plan to attend seminars. The War Eagle Fair offers many seminars and classes about how to make different arts and crafts. There is a list on the War Eagle website that lists the seminars. You can also get a list of available seminars at the entrance to the fair.

  4. Step 4

    Choose to eat at some of the fair's many vendors. War Eagle vendors offer traditional fair food as well as sit-down dinners and gourmet treats.

Tips & Warnings
  • There is no admission fee for the War Eagle Fair. Parking is free. First-aid stations and rest rooms and readily accessible.
  • Wear comfortable shoes. War Eagle grounds are large and walking is a must as you explore the fair.
  • No dogs are allowed at the fairgrounds unless they are seeing eye dogs.
