tired of having to use more than one product to clean shine and moisturize your leather couch ,chair ,leather furniture??

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • baby oil
  • old rag
  • sponge
  1. Step 1

take the old rag and put about 10 or 15 drops of baby oil on it depending on the size of your couch or chair , just start wiping your couch or chair as if you were cleaning it ,

  2. Step 2

take another rag and add baby oil and continue to wipe down your couch or chair untill you do not see anything on your rag

  3. Step 3

take your sponge and add the baby oil start off with a spot of oil the size of a half dollar and wipe the arms front and back of the couch untill it shine as you want it then if needed apply a quarter size amount of oil to the back and coushins of the couch wipe down extra well because that is where you sit

Tips & Warnings
  • while your doing this coffee table looking kind of dull? take your rag wipe it down getting rid of all the dirt
  • then take your sponge and give it some shine
  • do not put as much baby oil on the back and cushins because you sit there and you would not want oily clothes
  • As long as you wipe the cushins down you do not have to worry about oily spots on your clothes

on 12/12/2007 Please please DO NOT use baby oil to clean leather. It will stay on the surface and attract more dirt and oils which are the two things which will eventually destroy the leather itself.

on 10/7/2007 My dad is a boot maker and he would never use baby oil to clean leather. The mineral oil in the baby oil will literally burn up the leather. We have always used mink oil or leather balm to do this. It really preserves the life of leather.
