You have seen on eBay or a similar site a box set of your favourite TV series such as Will&Grace, Friends, West Wing etc. The box set includes ALL seasons and is at a bargain price! Unfortunatly it ships from Asia so the postage is more than the item but why care when the total price is still a 1/3 of the original price in your local store?
Step One is Think about the purchase, decide if you want to purchase a fake set of dvds for the bargain price and take the associated risks. -

If you dont want to buy the fake dvds then you have made a noble choice, you wont be breaking the law or heading for a dissapointment if the discs dont work.
If you want to continue with the purchase then there are a few things you need to know. -

First these fake dvd boxsets from china come in a 'box' much like the one pictured, and the discs are all in plastic wallets inside the box, so while on the outside the boxset looks quite presentable.. the inside tells a different story.

Now as will all transactions check the seller reputation, the postage costs, the delivery time and general feel of the transaction.
Now when buying fake dvds you have to be aware of a few extra things; it is against the LAW to have counterfeit goods and FBI could bust you in jail with a fine if you are caught and sentenced.
These discs are comming from china so there is a chance that customs will bust open your parcel and levy you with an import tax (Another expense) and there is also a chance that while opening your parcel they discover the discs are fake - now you are busted and could claim you didnt know, but its a risk! -

Basically the money saved in buying counterfeit boxsets is minimal compared to the money needed to pay your bail if you get caught, so I would recommend NOT purchasing the fake boxsets, and buying the originals or borrowing them off a friend! Or if you are desperate go to CHINA and buy the boxset, watch it there and then throw it away before getting your plane home! Never bring back fake items in your luggage, thats a definate criminal offense!
