How to Research your trip to New Zealand

New Zealand, whilst being a relatvely small country has much to offer. To get the most out of your trip, planning where to go, what to see, where to stay and what to do makes for a stress free holiday on arrival.

Things You’ll Need:

• Th official site for New Zealand Travel and Business www.newzealand.com

1. Go to www.newzealand.com and select the country you are travelling from, this will take you into the main site.
   
   Sign up for the travel planner - this allows you to collect detailed information about your searches and plan your trip.

2. Browse the regions of New Zealand and as you find areas of interest add them to your travel planner.
   Look at the activities and areas of interest in the area and add these to your planner.
3. Search for accommodation. Under the accommodation tab you can enter a search for accommodation ranging from backpackers to boutique accommodation, motels to hotels. When you find accommodation add it to the planner. You can enter as many options as you wish. For example you may be tossing up which hotel or B&B to stay at but you can decide that at a later stage.
4. After collecting your information, you are ready to begin creating a calendar for your trip. Under the travel planner you can create a calendar and drag items into the days of your holiday. select the date for the start of your trip and you are ready to go!
   You can also see your planned route on a map.
5. Print off your trip planner and take it with you. It will have information about the towns and regions you plan to visit, plus addresses and phone numbers of accommodation and other activities which is very handy to have all in one document.
