Tips & Warnings

  • An electronics sales rep mediates with all the electronics and department stores across a wide area, often spanning several states.
  • A laptop computer is an important tool for any sales rep. Use it to research products, keep in touch with manufacturers while on the road and aid in presentations to prospective clients.
  • A sales rep will often work long hours. That, combined with frequent travel, makes this a challenging job for people with families.
