You can repair simple leaks to your conservatory now even while the roof is leaking. However, the ground underneath may be slippery at that time, so you will want to wait until it is dry and you can attack the problem more safely.
Pinpoint the exact point where your roof is leaking. This seems obvious, but too often people note the general area of the leak, and attempt to repair the wrong spot in error.
The ideal time to locate a leak is when the structure IS leaking.
Step2
Mark the area and/or take a close up picture of the leak.
Step3
Purchase clear underwater sealant. It was designed to repair leaks underwater (for example for repairing aquariums.) It works on glass, rubber, plastic and most metals. It will not crack or shrink.
It may be available in many places. I located it online at www.mcmaster.com Part # 7327A21 Cost $4.99
Step4
Apply per directions. Wipe off excess before it hardens.
It will begin to harden in 10 - 20 minutes but will not be completely set until 48 hours.
Tips & Warnings
Even though the underwater sealant can be used while the area is leaking, it might be safer to wait until the rain has quit and the ground is dry.
Replace any cracked windows or missing caps if needed. If the job is extensive, you may want to contact your installer.
