Step1
Find women - This is the easiest step, because women seem to be everywhere nowadays. The tough part is finding the right woman. Bars contain women that like to drink, so avoid if you don't. Clubs contain women that like to get dressed up and shake their asses, so recommendation to avoid if you're looking for something serious. Grocery stores contain women that like to eat, so don't bother unless you like girls who eat. Libraries contain women who read, so if you're illiterate you might want to brush up on your reading first. The beach contains women who like the outdoors and the water, so if you're agoraphobic or can't swim, my advice is to stay indoors. And, finally, street corners contain women who you might think are perfect for what you're looking for, but be warned: that sort of thing can get expensive (and it's also illegal in 49 states).
Step2
Once you've found the right girl you have to know what to say. All girls basically want to hear the same things, so don't worry that your librarian won't like what you're saying. First, try general conversation. Don't jump right into compliments, because that makes you seem desperate. Talk about the weather, your surroundings, but don't talk about your ex-girlfriend (save that for after you get married). Second, mention you like her [insert something sweet here]. Remember to keep it clean: you like her glasses, her hair, her shoes (not her ****s or her ass). Third, laugh at all her jokes, but don't make it obvious. And at least once she'll say something outlandish, so throw in a "You're kidding me" so she knows you're paying attention.
Step3
Once you've made small talk subtlety inquire about a boyfriend. Insert this line into the conversation: "That's funny; you're boyfriend must have freaked." Her response to that question is crucial, because if she says "he" followed by anything other than "broke up with me" or "died in a car accident last year" you need to abort.
Step4
If you get this far you know she's available, so don't pounce too quickly. Act surprised she's not taken or shocked that the jerk would break up with her: "What an ****." Being considerate will get you far in life. Plus, she'll take your consideration as a sign you're interested. Women want to be wanted, so if she thinks you want her, you're in.
Step5
Once all the generalities and niceties are out of the way it's time to get down to business. By now you should have her curiosity piqued and asking her out will be a piece of cake. Therefore, don't blow all the hard work with a bad proposal. Keep it short and simple. In fact, don't even ask, just state it as a fact: "Let's get coffee sometime" or "I'm taking you to dinner. I can't let you have a bad image of men" (this works if she had a particularly bad break-up). After she agrees, congratulations, you've just scored a date.
