  • Event permit

Step1
Be flexible with date planning. Pick several dates that work for the wedding schedule. Prioritize the dates.

Call (800) 444-PARK to make reservations and to find out about fees. Make reservations as far in advance as possible to allow for the best choice of dates.
Step3
Call the Redwood National Forest event coordinator at (707) 464-6101 to receive a special event permit. Download a permit at the National Park website.
Step4
Completely fill out the event form. Fax the completed form to (707) 465-5171 or mail to Permit Coordinator, Redwood and State Park, 1111 2nd Street Crescent City, California 95531. Allow four business days for the permit to be processed.
Step5
Make arrangements for chairs and other wedding rentals. Visit The Wedding Planner website for information on rentals.
Step6
Make lodging accommodations. Make lodging reservations as soon as the wedding date is secure. Find accommodation information by contacting the Chamber of Commerce in local towns.
