      Contact a snowmobile outfitter to rent snowmobiles and make arrangements for a tour. Visit the Utah.com website for a guide of snowmobile rental and tour companies.

      Make reservations well in advance. Make weekend and holiday reservations extra early as they fill quickly.

      Wear layers of clothing. Wear a snug fitting bottom layer, fleece middle layer and a wind and water proof outer layer.

      Rent bibs and parkas from the snowmobile outfitter if you don't have proper clothing. Contact the individual outfitter for pricing information.

      Wear insulated winter gloves and boots. Wear thin knit gloves under the winter gloves and thick insulating socks under the boots.

      Wear sunglasses or goggles for eye protection. Glare from the sun is multiplied in the snow.

      Arrive for your expedition early so that you have time to get dressed and make any final arrangements before the start of the trip.
