How to Be Manly

Men and women share many of the responsibilities that were gender specific in the days of yore. While this can blur the once strict lines that divided the two sexes, there are still ways to be manly.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Be reliable. Manly men should be counted on. You are no longer called to rescue women tied to train tracks, but when you hear the siren call of a loved one in despair, be manly and happy to help.
Step2
Have a strong character. Men need to know who they are. They need to know what they stand for and what is important to them to be manly. Wishy-washy behavior and a sporadic mind are the signs of a weak being. Find strength in your character and take a stand.
Step3
Keep your promises. Promises are meant to be kept, not broken. You will be manly if you are the guy who always stands by his word and follows through with every commitment set down for him.
Step4
Ask for help. A man should not be too proud to ask for help. Showing you are human, and may need to be helped at some point in your life, will steer you toward being manly.
Step5
Curb aggression. When you get over heated due to anger or frustration, never raise your hand to strike anyone. Fighting is a sign of weakness. Walking away means you are more manly than the guy trying to goad you on.
