Step 1
Choose a variety of hooks for both artificial and live bait.

Throw in a few lures in different styles for a variety of uses.

Include sinkers in various weights and styles: free weights, clamp and spoon.

Throw in bobbers or floaters - small and large, round and straight - to help keep the bait off the bottom of the lake.

Include many swivels in your tackle box. A swivel is a metal attachment to the line that makes it easy to change baits without having to cut the line.

on 11/22/2005 Always take a lot of hooks. They're useful in areas where snags are present, spoons and spinners are always good for casting, and bass like things that make noise.
