Recreational vehicle enthusiasts gather at rallies to socialize, learn and view new products. Sponsored by local or national RV clubs, RV rallies range from large national events to gatherings for owners of specific brands of RVs. Participate in a RV rally and combine the joy of travel with the pleasure of meeting others who travel by RV.

1. Join an RV club, such as the Good Sam Club, to receive notification of local and national RV rallies. Consider membership in a "brand club" for events with owners of your brand of RV. Network with others who enjoy a mobile lifestyle to discover the next rally location.

2. Register to attend the rally. Check if a registration fee is required and what services are included in the RV rally fee.

3. Plan to attend the seminars offered at RV rallies. Learn more about the RV lifestyle from experts in the field and other RV owners.

4. Participate in craft and cooking classes. Learn new activities and menus that work with the RV lifestyle. Discover what other classes are offered and participate in those that strike your fancy.

5. Socialize with people other RV enthusiasts. Check message boards for the location of other RVers from your community or take a chance and meet new friends who enjoy RV travel.

6. Visit any retailers who have exhibits and discover what is new in the RV world. Avail yourself of any free products or services offered as part of the rally, such as free repairs or weighing your RV.

7. Enjoy the entertainment offered at the rally. Participate in any side trips offered. Ask for a list of recommended sights and activities and enjoy sightseeing with new and old friends from the rally. Enjoy the rally, and travel around the surrounding community.
