Battle Royale is a card game similar to the game of War you used to play with cards as a child. This game, however, is played between the dealer and the player and could amount to high stakes for you. To learn how to play and win at this easy casino card game, follow these steps.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Place your bet. Most minimum bets start at $5.

  2. Step 2

Watch the dealer give you a card face up and himself a card face up. The person with the highest card wins the hand. If you win, you are paid even money on the bet.

  3. Step 3

Decide whether you want to battle or surrender if you and the dealer tie, which means you are showing the same card.

  4. Step 4

Lose your wager by surrendering, which means you fold the hand. This ends the game and starts another round.

  5. Step 5

Double your bet if you want to battle. This will be a side wager. The dealer will deal you three cards face down and then himself three cards face down. The he will proceed to turn the fourth card face up, first for you, then him. The person with the highest card wins. If the dealer wins, you lose both bets. If you win, you receive even money on your original bet and double your bet on the battle.

Tips & Warnings
  • Battle Royale can be found at both live casinos and online casinos.
  • If you battle and tie those cards, then you can go to second battle. If you win that battle, you will receive even money on your initial wager and then house odds on your second battle wager, which could be as large as 7 to 1.
  • Gambling is extremely addictive. If you think you might have a gambling problem, seek help immediately.
