Step 1
Start studying for your arts-and-crafts exam at the beginning of the course. Read your books from front to end if you're assigned books in this class. Take notes in every class and study these notes every night. Pay attention to the projects you're expected to complete.
-
Step 2
Get serious about your arts-and-crafts projects. They pull your creativity strings and cause you to have fun. Help other students with their projects if you complete your project ahead of time. This is a good way to turn the mechanics required to do these projects into muscle memory. Always apply the techniques and steps your teacher teaches you.
-
Step 3
Adopt a temporary hobby that entails engaging in activities related to the arts and craft project you're working on. Get an arts-and-crafts study group together and take your hobbies to a coffee shop. Help each other out with technique. Quiz each other on written test related material.
-
Step 4
Go over your textbook days before the exam to make sure that you're comfortable with the written material. Study chapters that you're not completely comfortable with. Sleep at least 8 hours before the exam; refrain from getting drunk the night before.
-
Step 5
Arrive early during the test. Your instructor may go over certain aspects of the exam while people are waiting for students to pile in. This is the case whether you're taking a written exam or if you're going to do a practical exam.
