How to Make an Eye Patch

Place your piece of cardboard on a flat surface and raw the outline for your eye patch. Don't worry if you make it a little too big for your eye, because you can always trim it down later.

Take your scissors and cut along the outline you made. Cut it down a little at this time, if you made the outline for the eye patch too large.

Cut a slit from the bottom to the middle of the eye patch to create the bulge.

Hold the cut edges of the eye patch together so that they overlap a bit and then staple the edges together.

Cut off any bits that are sticking out so that the edges of the eye patch are smooth.

Color the eye patch with a black marker or paint. Though black is the standard color, you can decorate your patch however you like.

Cut a hole in each side of the eye patch and attach the elastic band using the holes that you have just made.

Try your eye patch on to make sure it fits and make any adjustments, if necessary.
