So there's going to be a marathon showing of your favorite series on television during some holiday weekend; but there is no drinking game based on that series that you can find. Make up your own! Here's a general plan that will work for anything from kid's cartoons to Iron Chef.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Television
  • Alcoholic drink of your choice
  • At least three friends to make it fun
  • A way to get home safely after playing
  1. Step 1

Drink continuously during the theme song. Whenever you hear parts of that theme, take another drink.

  2. Step 2

Take one drink if you see the name of the show (like during a commercial break) or if one of the characters says the name of the show. Make it two if they mention some other show.

  3. Step 3

Pick a character and drink when that character appears on screen. If your character is mentioned but does not appear, take one drink. Drink continuously if your character loses his or her temper until he or she calms down or the scene ends.

  4. Step 4

Knock one back when you see any character drink, no matter what he or she is having. That means water, fruit juice or human blood is all fair game.

  5. Step 5

Listen for catch phrases. When you hear them, everyone takes a drink.

  6. Step 6

Deal with annoying aspects of the show by knocking back a drink. For example, if you hear a laugh track, see a dream sequence, a dance or singing scene, a "flashback" to a previous episode or have to sit through some painfully scripted "frank discussion" between people on the show, take a swig of your drink.

Tips & Warnings
  • Beer is the traditional drinking game tipple, but if you wish to consume something harder, have a pitcher (or two) prepared before you play.
  • Never play a drinking game and attempt to drive home afterwards. The risks to you, people who care about you and everyone else on the road are far too great.
