1
Do volunteer work at your library before your Library Science classes start. Work your way into a paying entry-level job, quickly applying on-the-job training skills to your duties. Learn as much as you can while you're on the job.
-
2
Read your Library Science Book in its entirety and take notes with every lecture. Make every effort to apply classroom training to your next scheduled library shift. Keep using what you learned in the classroom while working at the library until it becomes second nature to you.

3
Create a study group with other friends attending the same library science classes. Go to a coffee shop and reserve a table. Ask each other library science related questions. Explain concepts to your friends during this study group to reinforce concepts learned in the classroom.
-
4
Study your notes every night. One week before the exam, go back and read every chapter in your book covered in the exam. Studying your notes every night coupled with applying classroom theory in the library makes reading the book a breeze.

Get plenty of rest that night, don't sleep late. You need to be refreshed to make the most of using your subconscious to take the exam. Before answering the first question, look through the whole test. Let your mind work on all the test answers while you concentrate on generating the answers to one question at a time.
