Tea is the most popular drink in the world and has been served everywhere from China to America. Whether you drink it hot or cold, with lemon or milk, the simple act of sitting down with a cup of tea can help you fight stress and relax after a busy day.

  • Teapot
  • Teacups or mugs
  1. Step 1

    Experiment with different types of tea. Each of the for main types of tea: oolong, black, green and white, can be purchased in tea bags or loose, depending on your preference.

    Try herbal tea. Chamomile, mint, lemon balm and sage can all be brewed to make a relaxing drink. Add 2 tsp of dried herbs to each cup of boiling water and let it steep for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Brew a pot of tea. The simple ritual of rinsing the teapot, boiling the water and pouring the steaming liquid over the tea leaves, can help you fight stress.
