Tips & Warnings
You can paint or decorate your toad house before you plant it. If you use a clay pot, wash and dry it before painting it. No matter what kind of container you use, use acrylic or other paints or materials that can withstand outdoor extremes.
Contrary to rumor and folklore, touching a toad will not give you warts.
Always handle a toad with care and return him to the habitat that you've created for him so he can thrive in his new house.
