Know the Benefits of Circumcision

Circumcision of a male infant is a hotly contested topic. Many new parents struggle with the decision to circumcise or not. Circumcision has benefits and many parents choose to have the procedure performed on their sons. Read on to learn the benefits of circumcision.

Instructions

    • 1

Study urinary tract infections (UTI) in circumcised and uncircumcised boys. You want to lessen your child's risk of getting urinary tract infections. A circumcised infant is 10 times less likely to get a UTI than an uncircumcised baby boy, as well as the fevers associated with UTIs.

    • 2

Learn about balanitis. Reduce the likelihood that your son will get balanitis. This is a painful inflammation of the glans of the ****. Circumcision can prevent a common, sometimes recurring problem.

    • 3

Consider that the future may contain additional STD risks. Raise your son's protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Studies have shown that circumcised men are eight times less likely to get HIV than uncircumcised men. This is due in part to the fact that the foreskin of the **** harbors germs in a mucous-lined "cocoon" at the tip of the ****. A circumcised man is less likely to pass along the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) to his partner than an uncircumcised man, since HPV thrives in the foreskin's climate. As HPV is the primary cause of cervical cancer, your son's future partner may appreciate your decision to circumcise.

Protect your son from cancer of the ****. Although rare, this devastating condition is almost completely preventable by circumcising your child.

    • 5

Consider everyday hygiene. Promote cleanliness and hygiene in your son. Circumcised penises are generally easier to keep clean, especially when your son is young or when he starts to learn to clean himself. Boys can keep uncircumcised penises just as clean, but this does require a little more effort.

I showered everyday. I got rid of my infantile phimosis at age 8. I did everything I could to keep it clean. I always wore protection. I contracted Strep B at 21, and I am currently recovering from the circumcision that I had to get, to avoid an imminent glansectomy... Which is probably the scariest thing a doctor can say to you. My girlfriend and I are suffering for my parent's catastrophic mistake. If you're contemplating it for your son, please go with it. Foreskin6 is either one of the lucky ones who didn't catch an untreatable illness based of off the foreskin or a hippy mother (Like my own, who I love.) However, hippy moms need to understand that it is the healthiest thing and I just don't want to see anyone have to know the psychological or physical pain that I have now endured. Circ is the way to go. As eccentric and against the grain as I am, I must say that I will most...

urinary tract infections, cervical cancer, and penile cancer rate are lower that the rate of circumcised boys dying under the knife which rarely happens but it does..google that!. the risk of circumcision out ways the risk of leaving it intact..the fact that by removing the foreskin you desensitize the **** making an interal organ external and dry..just like your tongue..make sense.

urinary tract, cervical cancer, and penile cancer infections rate is low like the rate of boys that were killed by getting circumcised..but that wouldn't make a difference?,,uncircumcised is natural like nature wanted it. most of the world is uncircumcised and from what u wote we would have a world wide crisis
