The word Disney manages to create a feeling of nostalgia for many people. Almost everyone has a favorite character or movie and the various parks are must-sees for everyone worldwide. With all this excitement about anything Disney, it is no surprise that Disney memorabilia is a popular collectible for many people. Read on to learn how to collect Disney memorabilia.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Narrow your collection down. Decide to only collect Disney memorabilia from the various parks, from a specific movie, just a certain type of memorabilia such as the art from the movies or only collect things about a specific character or group of characters. This will make your collection not only more manageable, but more unique and special to you.

  2. Step 2

Shop eBay. The site not only sells Disney memorabilia from collectors, but also from the Disney company itself. It is the place to find unique memorabilia from the parks and movies and the place to search for unique items for the various characters. On eBay there is even a forum for Disney collectors.

  3. Step 3

Visit the parks. Not only do the parks sell unique Disney mugs, clothes, stuffed animals and toys, but each of the parks sell one-of-a-kind art work that is highly collectible. You can even have your purchases shipped directly to your home, so you don't have to worry about carrying it around from hotel to hotel.

  4. Step 4

Go to various websites that sell Disney specialty items such as Fantasies Come True and Disney Memorablia. These sites not only sell products, but give places where collectors can come together to talk about their collections and ask each other questions.

  5. Step 5

Travel to the Disney Stores. Like the parks, the Disney Stores tend to sell clothes, stuffed animals, mugs and toys. In addition, they do sell various Disney memorabilia as well. Ask to talk to a sales associate if you are looking for something specific and unique.
