Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Pick up a book about a favorite team, player, or baseball in general. Use Amazon and Borders websites to browse a large selection, or stop by your local bookstore to find some interesting baseball titles for Christmas.
Step2
Check the website of the fan's favorite team or their stadium gift shop. Some teams have extensive gift catalogs. Major League Baseball has a website that features collectibles, memorabilia and even furniture for the baseball fan.
Step3
Find sites dedicated to baseball gifts and collectibles. There are several on the web, plus sports shops at your nearest mall. To browse a wide selection of possible presents in a short time, this is your best bet.
Step4
Search for stores and websites that sell personalized items. Doormats, plaques, clocks, towels and other common household items can be imprinted with a fan's name or the name of their favorite team.
Step5
Look at specialty shops not geared toward baseball. Vermont Teddy Bear sells teddy bears wearing baseball uniforms, and some fine jewelry companies offer team logo rings.
Step6
Buy tickets. A baseball fan may love books, DVDs and autographs that remind them of their favorite team, but nothing beats seeing their heroes play in person. Look into single game tickets and gift certificates for a fun but low-cost gift. Season tickets are an option if you want to buy a special Christmas gift for a business associate.
Step7
Bid on eBay or other auction sites if your favorite baseball fan has expressed special interest in a collectible or hard-to-find item. You'll find many autographed baseballs and pictures here, but make sure the signature is authentic before purchasing and be sure to verify the seller.

I called them with NO idea what to get my boyfriend and they were SO helpful. They helped me pick out a gift he loved, and were able to get it to me in 3 days just in time for his birthday.
I wouldn't recommend ebay, a lot of that stuff is fake.
