1
Collect the sheet music. This can be found online, at a thrift store or at a major department store. Using Christmas song sheets adds to the festiveness of the decorations. Find a favorite and make photocopies.

2
Roll a piece of thin cardboard into a cone shape and hold it together at the side with staples or glue. If using glue, hold together with paper clips until dry. A yarn cone can be recycled for this craft as well.

3
Take the sheet music and apply a thin layer of glue to the back of the paper, or spray on a thin layer of spray adhesive. Attach the sheet music to the outside of the cardboard cone. Trim the excess sheet music. Allow glue to dry.
-
4
Attach a decorative trim to the top rim of the cone along the outside edge. Place a small tassel on the pointed end of the cone with glue.
-
5
Create two small holes opposite each other near the top of the cone just under the decorative trim. Run a piece of ribbon through each hole, knotting the ends to secure. Now the ornament is ready to be filled with small ornaments, greenery or candy.
