How to Buy Toy Store Inventory

Often toys are no longer trendy, the market is over saturated, there's a small defect, or they are replaced by the new "next best thing" and you'd like to get your hands on these left-behind toys. How does one do that? There are several companies that specialize in selling toy store inventory.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Determine the minimum. The toys come in groups, so if you want only four, wouldn't you be surprised to find out you've bought one-hundred.
Step2
Check with the Better Business Bureau. There are always people who would rather spend their effort in scamming others than getting a job, so make sure whoever you're purchasing toy inventory from is legitimate.
Step3
Chose the toys you desire.
Step4
Leave a message for the seller. If the seller has a web site, leave an online message. Many of the sellers are from China and other countries such as India, and you must leave a message for them to contact you. If they are not foreign based, you may purchase items on line or by phone.
Step5
Hire a buyer. If the idea of leaving messages seems too clandestine, there are companies that will do the buying for you. You will pay more money, but you will eliminate the hassle.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pay attention to how many items you must buy. Manufacturers and companies that sell toy inventory sell in lots.
  • When buying toy merchandise from out of the country, you risk inferior toys.
