Pumpkin Golf is a great game for kids of all ages to play at a Halloween party. This game will be a hit at your next Halloween get together.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Halloween party
  • Kids to play
  • Carved pumpkin
  • Cardboard
  • Golf ball
  • Golf club
  • Candy

Step1
Pick out a nice, big pumpkin. Carve out the pumpkin into a funny face, making the mouth extra large so the golf ball can go in easily.
Step2
Create a ramp from cardboard. Make it about two feet wide at the bottom and have it go into the pumpkin's mouth. Cut the part that goes into the mouth a little more narrow if you need to in order to get it to fit into the pumpkin's mouth.
Step3
Use books or any other device to prop up the cardboard to give it some stability. You don't want the cardboard to end up bending and bowing in the middle as you play.
Step4
Use some masking or duct tape to secure the ramp to the floor at the bottom so it doesn't move around during the game.
Step5
Mark out a start line with the tape a few feet from the ramp. The distance from the start line to the pumpkin will depend upon the ages of the players. If you have a variety of ages playing, make a couple of start lines.
Step6
Give the first player a golf ball and club. Allow each player three tries to get the golf ball into the pumpkin.
Step7
Give out one piece of candy for each time the ball goes into the pumpkin. Keep playing until everyone has had at least one turn.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't make the ramp too long or too steep. You may need to experiment with this before the party to get it right.
