How to Buy Plus Size Swimwear

But buying plus size swimwear doesn't have to be a nightmare. In fact, you can look downright sexy in your bathing suit this year with a little know-how.

1. Try on your old swimsuit. Note what you like about it and what you don't. Does it gap or pinch? Does the bust fit well? Does it ride up? If the leg opening was lower or the back higher would it look more flattering?

2. Think about the rest of your wardrobe. Buying a bathing suit is like buying any other outfit. Which necklines look the best on your body? What kind of underwear is the most flattering for you? What are your three best colors? Use these as a guide in looking for the right swimsuit for you.
