Things You'll Need:
- Wind chime
- Hook
-
Step 1
Choose what type of wind chime you prefer. There are many different types such as aluminum, brass, steel or glass. Pick your hooks to install your wind chime at this time; they are usually sold separately.
-
Step 2
Find a place to hang your wind chime. You may want it on the open porch or the carport or even in the gazebo, if you have one. Just make sure it's a spot that captures the most wind.
-
Step 3
Hang your wind chime by screwing in a decorative hook. This works well when you install your wind chime on a porch or carport. You may also opt to hang this directly from a sturdy tree limb.
-
Step 4
Bring your wind chime inside by adding an indoor wind chime. Install your indoor wind chime the same way as the outdoor one, by screwing in a hook or by hanging from a sturdy chandelier.
-
Step 5
Enjoy the music. Wind chimes are in a class by themselves, and you can relax to the soothing sounds for years to come.
