If you need more room in your shower, a shower caddy is the answer. There are slots for soap, shampoo, body wash and a small rack for a wash cloth. This is a manageable task, even if you are not mechanically inclined.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Shower caddy kit
Step1
Decide on what kind of shower caddy you would like to have, and purchase it. Some caddies hang from the faucet, others hang from the shower curtain rings and you can install some models in the corner.
Step2
Install your shower caddy over the faucet by removing the showerhead and sliding the wire end up the pipe. Hang it in place, and then replace the shower head. With some brands you don't have to remove the showerhead.
Step3
Hang your shower caddy from the rings that you use for your shower curtain. This is a handy place that is easily reachable during your shower. The mesh of this shower caddy slides onto the shower curtain ring.
Step4
Place your shower caddy in the corner of the tub. Place it out of the way enough not to take up precious room, but close enough to reach while showering. This one works with adjustable tension poles that hold the caddy in the corner on a shelf. You don't need tools to install this kind of shower caddy either.
