Step 1
Locate the air purifier filter on the air purifier. Many times, this is located in the back near the bottom of the purifier.

Remove the filter by pulling it out or twisting it out.

Use warm water and mild soap to clean the filter thoroughly. Rinse very well, making sure all soap is completely out of the filter. Set the filter aside to allow to dry completely. If desired, you may also use a hair dryer set to low heat for faster drying time.

Replace the air purifier filter once it is completely dry.

Find your air purifier filter on the unit. Check the back towards the bottom, for standard models.

Take the filter out, usually by twisting and pulling.

Place the disposable filter in a plastic bag and take to a store to find a replacement. Taking the filter along is best to answer any questions you may have about similar filters.

Step 4
Reassemble the air purifier with the new filter.
