How to Run a Webinar
Business meetings conducted via the Internet called webinars-for web seminar-are part of our high tech world today. The ability to see the charts and graphs as if you were sitting right in the office is a reality. The people who attend these conference calls can be in different cities, or even different states. If they can access a computer, they can access the meeting.
Instructions

-
1
Choose a web conference company to host your webinar.
-
2
Reserve your meeting time and date of the seminar with the company.
-
-
3
Send out invitations to all the people who should attend your webinar. Provide complete information, such as the call-in number for the conference call and web address of the online seminar.
-
4
Do a practice run the day before your webinar to make sure everything runs smoothly. Although the company may charge you for this, do not skip this step. Ask a couple of people you trust call in and participate in a trial of your conference. Familiarize yourself with the controls, and troubleshoot any points with the conference company before the main event.
-
5
Respect the time of the people you have invited to the web seminar by arriving early and starting the conference on time.
-
6
Share the information with your participants, but keep the presentation focused and on point.
-
7
Take charge of the question-and-answer period by answering questions quickly and concisely. Discourage questions that are off-topic. Instead, address these by telling participants that you can also correspond with them later after the webinar.
-
8
End your webinar by thanking all who came for giving their time and attention to your material.
