1
Log on to the Alcoholics Anonymous website to learn more about the organization and the resources they have to offer. Find local offices and meetings through their website as well.
-
2
Ask someone you know. You will be surprised at how many people in your town attend meetings to stay sober. Asking around can get you straight to the door of the next meeting with someone you know and trust by your side.

3
Call a local treatment center. Treatment centers have the listings for AA and NA (Narcotics Anonymous) meetings in your area. They will also have a meeting directory on hand that you could pick up.
-
4
Look in your local newspaper. Many newspapers have a meeting section dedicated to all the support groups in town. AA meetings should be listed in this area; if they aren't, call the paper for information.

Contact other possible places including your local hospital, mental health provider or facility, youth support programs, high schools or college advisers or just contact your health care professional for more information.
