Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check online for cruise deals. Travel websites tend to put packages together such as cruise and car, or cruises and flights. Check the deals that are given if you book online. Most companies would prefer you book online and usually offer discounts on most cruise destinations.

  2. Step 2

Ask your friends if they have ever taken a cruise and with which provider. Sometimes people get excellent discounts because they do their research. Ask around and see if any of your friends have found some discount cruises that they would recommend.

  3. Step 3

Look in the newspaper and see if you can find any promotional cruises in the travel section. Sometimes cruise lines advertise in local newspapers to create awareness about their services. When they do this, most of the time they offer discount cruises to certain destination.

  4. Step 4

Check on Ebay and other auction websites. People have been known to place their cruise vacations on auction websites when they cannot take the trip themselves. They usually will offer them for a discount price.

  5. Step 5

Call your travel agent for discount cruise ideas. Your local travel agent will be able to tell you when the best time to take a cruise is and what time will be the cheapest and with the most discounts.
