Finding discount flights can be an easy task, and it does not have to be too time consuming. If you know of the right contacts, companies and online websites, you can find numerous deals and special discounts. Also, keep in mind that sometimes companies offer discount rates if you book your hotel and car rental at the same time.

1. Research online for discounts and flight deals. Flights prices can vary upon the season, whether it is low or high season for travelers and because of the destination choice. If you check online website companies such as Travelocity, Orbitz and Expedia, you will find good flight deals.

2. Ask your travel agent if they have any flight discounts if you book at a certain moment or time of the year. Express that you are looking for a discount flight.

3. Look in the local newspaper. In the travel section of some city newspapers, travel agencies tend to list their discount flights and sell them at the last minute. Search through your newspaper's travel section.

4. Ask your credit card holder company if you are allowed any discounts with your credit card membership. Some companies offer 20% off certain airlines and flights.
