Step1
Take her shopping for some new hunting attire. Buy her a frilly camo shirt, attractive cargo pants and maybe even some Gucci-flage leather boots.
Step2
Let her sleep in. Yes, the best hunting happens before 5 a.m., but if you want to teach your wife to hunt, she must be in a good mood. Let her sleep while you pack the car and load your gear, then wake her gently with the promise of a great breakfast.
Step3
Choose a target that's easy to hunt. Dove hunting may be a little too advanced for any beginning hunter. Instead, try deer hunting. The targets are bigger and easier to hit.
Step4
Handle the dirty work. When she hits her target, don't make her field dress it. You invited her along, so you need to do the dirty work. However, you can her watch so she can learn how to do it on her own. You should give any novice hunter the option of forgoing this duty if she is squeamish.
Step5
Prepare and cook whatever you shot together. Cooking together is a wonderful bonding experience that she's already familiar with.
