How to Make Halloween Fake Blood
What would Halloween be without a little fake blood? Making your own fake Halloween blood is cheaper than purchasing it and only requires a few simple ingredients. Better yet, these homemade versions are safe to eat. Be careful though. Fake Halloween blood is so realistic, you might scare yourself!
Things You'll Need
- Small bowl
- Spoon
- 16 oz. light corn syrup
- Red food coloring
- Hot water
- Dish soap
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp. powdered chocolate drink mix
- 3 or 4 tbsp. light corn syrup
- 2/3 cup Asian Dipping Sauce, cherry flavor
- 1/3 cup warm water
- A few drops of red food coloring

Basic Fake Blood

Pour corn syrup into a small bowl.

Add hot water, slowly, until the mixture is the consistency of blood. Add red food coloring to create the right color.

Squeeze in several drops of dish soap for easier clean-up.

Keep your fake blood refrigerated in a sealed container until you're ready to use it.
Chocolate Fake Blood

Mix powdered chocolate drink mix into the corn syrup in a small bowl.

Blend in the remaining ingredients.

Wait for the mixture to settle and skim the bubbles off the top.

Fake Gory Blood
