Idaho State University (ISU) is a public university located in Pocatello, Idaho. The university is nationally recognized for programs in business, health professions and pharmacy. Idaho State brings in students from across the country as well as enrolling several non-traditional students from the area around ISU. Here is how you can visit Idaho State University.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Check out the ISU website (see Resources below for link). Here you can find information on the school, check upcoming events and keep up with the news of the university.
Step2
Go to the prospective students' page on the ISU website and click on the "Visit ISU" link. This will take you to a form that you will need to fill out to arrange your visit.
Step3
Fill out the form to reserve a visitation spot. You will start by inputting your contact information. Next, you will choose your current school situation, whether you are a high school student or a college student considering transferring. You can also put in your desired field of study and when you plan on starting college. Finally, you will input the dates you want to visit, whether or not you want to stay overnight, names of anyone attending with you and list the extracurricular activities in which you are interested.
Step4
Print out a campus map from the ISU website and explore Idaho State on your own terms. If you want to see the campus without setting up an official visit, you can find a campus map on the website and see the university on your schedule. Be sure to check out the Student Union and Bookstore as well as any facilities in your area of study.
Step5
Explore the Pocatello area. Pocatello is located in the mountains of southeast Idaho and offers attractions such as the Idaho Museum of Natural History, the Fort Hall Replica, 32 parks and more. You can find out more about Pocatello on the Pocatello Convention and Visitor's Bureau website (see Resources below for link).
