A stye is a relatively common infection of the eyelid. Styes are often caused by 'staphylococcus' and occur in the glands that open onto the lid margin. They are red, swollen, and painful.
Wash your eyes with a clean wash cloth and a gentle eye cleanser. Rinse well.
Step3
Apply one coat of 'Clear Mascara' at a time to your upper and lower eye lashes. This will protect your lashes from drawing up the oil and dirt from your face. It really works.
Tips & Warnings
My friend was prone to styes. He went to a doctor who told him to wash with baby shampoo. This just dried out the skin around his eyes. So, I came up with a theory. His eye lashes are very long. I thought that the lashes worked like a sponge and drew up all of the oil and dirt from his face. So I said use a clear mascara (which I love to use on my eye brows as a sort of a hair spray). It works! He hasn't had a stye in about 2 years.
Let each coat dry before applying another coat.
One coat works well, but no more than two coats are needed.
